WOW!!!! What an amazing event you put on this past weekend! Thank you to everyone for your time, dedication and effort to make the first annual Relay For Life of University of Michigan-Flint such a success! Here are the impacts you made.

• Raised over $15,000 for the fight against cancer
• 18 teams were registered
• 140 registered participants
• 10 registered survivors - and one awesome survivor lap! 
• almost 200 luminaria bags lit the track
• impacted countless numbers of lives you may never know

For anyone that is interested in giving feedback, ideas, etc. for 2009, please attend the wrap-up meeting on April 30 at 6 pm. (location TBA).  Thank you!

Each year, across the nation, one event brings together entire communities to take part in the fight against cancer. That event is the American Cancer Society Relay For Life^®. It’s a time and place where people come to celebrate those who have survived cancer, remember those we’ve lost, and fight back against a disease that touches too many lives.
