Don't forget about matching gifts!
Thank you for your dedication to the American Cancer Society! Every dollar you raise goes toward eliminating cancer as a major health concern. Your support is essential to our mission, which fights cancer on four fronts: research, education, advocacy, and service.
Matching gifts are an incredible way for you to increase your support for Relay For Life! Many employers offer matching funds programs that match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift. Some employers have programs where they “pay” a charity of an employee’s choice for volunteer hours that the employee contributes. Ask your human resources department if your company offers this program.
The American Cancer Society has a quick and easy tool to see if your company offers a matching gifts program. In some cases, you can download the form right from the site. It's easy! Simply follow the instructions below to double your dollars today.
- Search for your company
- Complete your company's matching gift form
- Mail it to your local American Cancer Society office
If you do not see your company, don't worry; you might still be in luck. Simply contact your human resources department and ask if they offer a matching gifts or matching funds program. If they do, simply get the form, fill it out and send it to your local American Cancer Society office. We’ll take it from there!
